The Account Executive/Account Manager will be responsible for acquiring new restaurant partners, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the growth and retention of existing partners. This role requires a combination of relationship-building, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the food delivery industry to drive revenue and expand the platform’s restaurant network.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Development:
- Identify and onboard new restaurant partners to expand the platform’s offerings.
- Conduct outreach through cold calling, emails, and in-person visits to pitch the platform’s value proposition.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential restaurant partners.
2. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners and managers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for restaurant partners, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Conduct regular check-ins with partners to understand their needs and provide solutions.
3. Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Negotiate contracts and commission rates with restaurant partners.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns that drive orders for partner restaurants.
4. Market Research:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Identify opportunities for growth in new cuisines, locations, or restaurant types.
- Provide feedback to the product and operations teams to improve the platform based on partner and customer insights.
5. Training and Support:
- Educate restaurant partners on how to use the platform effectively (e.g., menu management, order tracking, and analytics).
- Provide training on best practices for maximizing orders and customer satisfaction.
6. Reporting and Analytics:
- Track and report on sales performance, including new partner acquisition, revenue growth, and retention rates.
- Use data and analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management (experience in the food, hospitality, or e-commerce industry is a plus).
